MATTHEW LE ROUX - Director

Matthew Le Roux is a co-founder and Director of Siyanda Capital. After spending time in London working in Fixed Income trade support at RBS and CSFB, he returned to South Africa in 2000 to join Prebon Yamane as a Fixed Income broker, based in Johannesburg. He later joined SA International & Capital Market Brokers in 2002, before moving to Tradition in 2004, initially broking Fixed Income, and later, Equity Derivative products. Matthew relocated to Cape Town during 2006 to join Cadiz Securities, focusing on the Equity Derivative Interbank Market. In 2010, He co-founded RidgeCape Capital, where he was a Director and Dealer/Broker across various asset classes, namely; Spot Bonds and Futures, Currency Options, and Equity Derivatives, in both an Interbank and Institutional capacity. In 2018, He then co-founded Siyanda Capital with his ex-Cadiz colleague, Luzuko Tashe. Matthew  has over eighteen years’ experience in Financial Markets, and has forged a broad network amongst Banking and Institutional clients.

LUZUKO TASHE - Director

Luzuko is a director and co-founder of Siyanda Capital (Pty) Ltd. He started his career at Investec Bank in 1999 as a trainee dealer on the institutional equities trading desk. In 2002, Luzuko joined the equity derivatives desk as a sales trader in delta one products. He joined Cadiz securities in 2005 as an equity derivatives dealer. During his tenure at Cadiz, the team was voted as the number one dealing desk in South Africa in equity derivatives according to the FM survey. Luzuko joined Citi in the role of equity derivatives sales in 2009 and remained in this role until 2014. In 2014, he joined Avior as part of the team that started the equity derivatives and fixed income desk at the company as a senior dealer on the desk. Luzuko has experience in the execution and sales of the following products: cash equities, equity derivatives, fixed income, currency futures and options.

 
 

Denvin Naidoo – Senior Fixed Income Dealer

Joined in June 2025, Denvin has been active in the fixed income markets for the last 25 years. Started as dealer in Balance Sheet management covering EU/US and SA focusing on liquidity and interest rate risk management. Thereafter moving into market making South African fixed income derivatives and bonds. Products covered in market making – SAGBs, Interest rate swaps and fras, cross currency swaps, forwards and linkers. Market-making focus has been towards real money and fast money flows with a deep understanding of liquidity constraints and how best to execute in market volatility.

Khaalid Saliem – Junior Quantitative Analyst and Sales Trader

After completing his undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance in 2023, Khaalid Saliem graduated with his honours, majoring in the Economic Analysis of Financial Markets in 2024, both at the University of Cape Town. He is currently undertaking both his Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA®) and Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) certifications. His previous work experience was in the financial services sector, with exposure to fund administration, private equity and asset management.  Khaalid joined Siyanda Capital in 2024 as a Junior Quantitative Analyst and Sales Trader.

 
 

Kyle Henry – junior quantitative analysist and fixed income dealer

Kyle joined Siyanda Capital in January 2025 as a Junior Quantitative Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Mathematical Sciences and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Operations Research (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch university. He offers computational and mathematical programming skills, coupled with a foundation in machine learning methodologies. He is currently registered to sit CFA Level 1 in November 2025.

Thaakir Hartley – Office Manager, Compliance and Settlements Officer

Thaakir joined Siyanda Capital in June 2025 as an Office Manager. After completing his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Industrial Psychology, Ethics, and Linguistics in 2022, he went on to graduate with his Honours in Industrial Psychology in 2023. Thaakir is currently undertaking his Compliance and Settlements Officer exams. With a background in Human Resources, he is motivated by understanding behaviour, unlocking potential, and fostering development. This perspective, along with his experience and skillset, supports his effectiveness in the role.
